High Hopes Ranch is located on 5 naturally landscaped acres with lots of trees and a running stream in Acton, CA which is an easy 40 minute drive from the Valley. We are north of Magic Mountain and south of Palmdale off the 14 freeway on all paved roads.
Our AKC/OFA Labradors are the true English type as many are imported from England and other countries in Europe. We breed for intelligence and a calm,loving temperment that is a joy to live with and easy to train.
Puppies are raised in their own room,handled from birth,supplementally bottlefed for early human bonding,mental stimulation and socialization and are given TWO vaccines before going to their forever homes.
Our Labradors have the English look of square heads,stocky bodies and otter tails and we breed all shades of yellow,blacks and chocolates. Our Labradors do well in the show ring or in the home and our favorite title is not "BEST IN SHOW" but "BEST IN HOME". We have many years experiance in the breed and are certified animal behaviorists with a degree in veterinary science. We treat our puppy parents with respect and try to teach as much as they want to learn as we believe an educated puppy parents is the best puppy parent.
Getting a puppy should be a memorable and enjoyable experiance so we try to accommodate you in every way possible and we only do private appointments so as to have a relaxed atmosphere and our undivided attention. We offer you lifetime support and we also offer pet sitting for our dogs only as a service to our people so you never have to worry about your four legged friend while you are away on business or vacation. Guest pets live in our house just like they do in yours and we welcome calls from anxious parents to check in on thier fur kids. One of our young owners tells his friends that his dog goes to "Camp Snoopy" when his family goes on vacation and thier canine friend cannot go with them.
We love children of all ages and welcome them with TLC and encourage them to participate in thier dog's care and training as much as they are able. We believe that the outside of a dog is good for the inside of a child. We also welcome and have experiance with children with special needs.
